    Physics Documents Worldwide

    Search for distributed documents worldwide:
This Interface allows to query MPRESS and PhysDoc in parallel. Results will be ranked.
    PhysDoc searches also across PhysDis!
Because responding time of the asked search-engines may differ, the results will be presented at latest after 200 seconds of timeout. The communication to the brokers is continued in the background even after this time-out. Thus your queries and results are not lost but saved for an hour so re-asking the same query will result in much quicker response.
Please type only one word or phrase per field. The fields are logically combined by boolean AND.
Asking for PACS and MSC classification numbers will result in serving you with hints for related numbers (based on statistical analysis research work within the project CARMEN).

This is still a prototype - part of a running project !

    Search in whole:

PhysDoc - The Physics Documents Network
MPRESS - The Mathematics Preprint Search System

    Note:

It is recommended that the institutions set up at their server one central web-page giving the links to all document lists of their subinstitutions, research groups and individual scientists.

Authors should additionally qualify their documents by adding metadata according to the Dublin-Core standard. Please use the web-form MyMetaMaker (MMM) to create and integrate the machine-readable metadata, and to improve the web-visibility of your documents also for any other prefessional searchengine. This will help e.g. to find your publications in the author and title field.

If an Institution's publication link is missing in the link-lists,
    please use the PhysNet-Uploadform.

Since June 2000 the APS allows to republish articles from their journal in e.g. collections on the author's web-server. For more information see the APS-Agreement for Copyright Transfer
